Paku Atas Pagar #SpeakingEnglish1

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there.

Greeting everyone which so fluenty speaking AND writing in English!

After read this story, I learnt that people can easily forgive other but it is hard to forget. Moreover, anger takes away judgment, leads to depression, madness and wrong actions that we would repent later on when we are not angry. In my opinion, being angry is like being drunk. In both cases, we do not know what we are doing, hurting ourselves or someone else, and afterward when the intoxication is over, we repent.

However, getting angry is a completely normal because it is one of human emotions. There are reasons for people to being angry. It is either an unexpected provocation or unexpected situation which leads to frustration and an angry response. Unfortunely, when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems such as problems at work, in your personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life. Plus, it also affected the other’s person feeling for a long time even you had been forgiven. As a normal human being, I also have done something that has affected other’s feeling.

Yes, as a human being, I never missed for being angry. There was something I said that haunts me to this day. One late afternoon, my mother insist me to accompany her shopping to "India Streets". One thing that my mother always do while I'm driving is she always decide which road I should take, take the dangerous shortcut, and etc etc. So, that day she insist me to park at the area that so far away from the India streets. You know I hate walking right? I told her nicely that I will parking wherever I like because I drive, I'll decide. And yes, we got into a fight, and that is when I yell something *in my most snotty teenage voice which “I have grown up , stop treating me like a child!”. She was speechless and I pretty sure that I saw her teary eyes. But then, I ask for her forgiveness and she accept it. She's an Angel and can adapt it so well after being hurt by me. Eventhough its okay between us then, I have regretted making that statement until today. Sure I was an idiotic teenager who was capable of saying very mean things, but I really wish I never said that toward my mother. I'm sorry Mak for hurting your feeling. I've changed.

saya iras mak saya *smiley faces

The Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him & give him peace) had told us that one who is strong is the one who can control himself at the time of anger. He also said that anger is like fire, which destroys one from within, and it can also lead you to the fire of hell by your own expressions of anger unjustly. So, be careful folks... don't get your anger burst, people!! Not all mankind in this world can easily give their forgiveness. Remember that.

That's all for now folks. May peace be upon you.
